    Job Description Salary:


    The Director of Clinical Services will direct, supervise, and provide clinical leadership to the counseling and care-coordination functions within the outpatient facilities in Youngstown and Warrensville Heights.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    Responsible for planning and staffing clinical services.
    Manage resources and expenses, recommend and implement changes to the processes/methods utilized by the clinical services.
    May carry small caseload as needed.

    Facilitate the operation of the clinical services in collaboration with the leadership of the facility by using evidenced-based guidelines and medical criteria.

    Review initial clinical information format and presentation and evaluates the continuing application of these guidelines.
    Facilitate active patient and family participation in the treatment process.
    Maintain documentation in a timely, thorough and accurate manner.
    Hire, supervise and evaluate clinical staff.
    Establish policies and procedures for continuing care program.
    Collaborate with facility leadership in the implementation of outcome studies for the program.
    Responsible for community outreach and marketing activities for the facility as required.
    Participate in quality improvement, program services review and consistently reviews client programming for best outcomes.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/


    SKILL

    REQUIREMENTS:


    Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Nursing (NP or Master's level RN with emphasis in Psychiatric Nursing) required.

    Six or more years' clinical experience in care management, utilization review or case management required.

    Prior leadership experience in a behavioral health setting with demonstrated expertise considering patient's age, gender, developmental level and cultural/religious issues required.

    CERTIFICATIONS:
    LISWS - Licensed Independent Social Worker
    LPCCS - Licensed Professional clinical Counselor
