- Provides senior analyst leadership and direction to the analyst team, IS, business units, project teams or external entities.
- Identifies personal abilities and limitations and takes appropriate follow-up action.
- Recognizes and identifies potential areas in application software where policies, procedures, or workflow require change or development.
- Provides analysis input for the development or upgrades for departmental systems in order to ensure clinical end user needs are met.
- Identifies technical, business, and clinical workflow components required and resolves technical and workflow issues for an application configuration.
- Configure systems based on understanding of clinical processes/workflow and identifies when changes are needed as a result of changes in requirements.
- Serves as a mentor and information resource to Clinical and Business Analysts using standard mentoring tools.
- Readily offers assistance, guidance and training to others as required/appropriate.
- Evaluates application and/or data errors and communicates to appropriate CBS team member(s).
- Provides presentations for users, staff and outside entities, as required, utilizing appropriate tools, techniques, and methods.
- Maintains and demonstrates competency in the use of core job function tools.
- Participates in 24/7/365 on call rotation, working to resolve customer issues timely, and identifies opportunities for user self-service remedies/education.
- Cooperatively accepts additional duties as assigned.
- Education: Associate Degree in Information Systems, Informatics, Business Administration, Nursing or appropriate clinical or business field. Relevant work experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for required degree.
- Five (5) years of applicable clinical/business systems/IT experience, preferably in a multi-entity health care system, large hospital, physician office, or managed care organization.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with innovative resolution to problems .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, judgment and people skills.
- Education: Bachelor degree in a related field may substitute for up to two (2) years of required.
- Broad experience in systems analysis, design, development and integration of large enterprise wide application systems.
- Experience with multiple clinical computer systems, database applications, and software applications including configuration, software testing, implementation, data manipulation and report generation.
- Experience with the configuration and technical support of Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) and related Allscripts modules.
- Expertise with the development of custom Allscripts Medical Logic Modules (MLM) report(s) highly preferred.

iMethods is seeking a Senior Clinical Systems Analyst that will be responsible for providing senior clinical/business analyst leadership and direction, as well as project management, for the development and support of a stable, reliable, and customer oriented clinical/business system and applications that meet the needs of users and the organization.
