    Description
    This is a 1 year contract-to-hire position. Candidates must be local to Atlanta and 100% onboard with converting to a permanent employee. This position will be hybrid onsite 3x a week. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

    Responsibilities

    Coordination and Management of Testing Efforts:
    Take the lead in coordinating and managing end-to-end application testing efforts, ensuring a thorough and systematic approach.
    Collaborate closely with external third-party testing companies, providing leadership and guidance to ensure their alignment with project goals.

    Test Plan Development and Review:


    Collaborate with the testing team to develop, review, and approve comprehensive test plans that cover all functional aspects of the application.

    Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure that test plans are aligned with project requirements and business goals.


    Engagement with System Integrators and Business Users:

    Engage with System Integrators (SI) and business users to validate testing processes, seeking feedback to refine strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.

    Foster strong relationships with SIs to facilitate effective collaboration and coordination during testing initiatives.

    Leveraging SI Experience for Coordination:
    Leverage System Integrator (SI) experience to streamline coordination between testing efforts and System Integrators.
    Utilize SI insights to troubleshoot issues effectively, ensuring a smooth testing process and addressing challenges in a timely manner.

    Implementation and Maintenance of Automated Testing:
    Implement and maintain automated testing processes to enhance efficiency and test coverage.
    Collaborate with automation engineers to design and implement robust automated testing scripts, leveraging industry best practices.
    Regularly review and optimize automated testing frameworks to ensure they align with project goals and contribute to testing efficiency.

    Requirements


    Extensive Experience in Software Testing:
    Demonstrate extensive experience in software testing, including hands-on experience in developing and executing test plans.
    Proven track record of leading testing efforts in complex software implementation projects.

    Extensive Experience with Oracle Testing Tools:
    Possess familiarity with Oracle testing tools, showcasing the ability to leverage these tools for effective testing of Oracle applications.
    Experience with tools such as Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) or Oracle Test Manager is a plus.

    Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
    Exhibit strong analytical skills to assess complex software systems and identify potential areas of improvement.
    Demonstrate problem-solving skills in addressing defects and challenges identified during the testing process.

    Communication and Leadership Skills:
    Strong communication skills to convey testing requirements, progress, and outcomes to diverse stakeholders.
    Leadership skills to guide and motivate testing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven testing environment.

    Attention to Detail:
    Pay meticulous attention to detail in test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
    Ensure thorough and accurate documentation of test results and defects for analysis and resolution.

    Adaptability and Continuous Improvement:
    Exhibit adaptability in addressing changing project requirements and testing priorities.
    Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the testing team, implementing best practices and optimizing testing processes.
