- Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls promptly.
- Provide accurate information in response to inquiries and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Manage the reception area, including keeping it tidy and organized.
- Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and assisting with creating session materials.
- Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Able to work Monday-Friday afternoons.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred.
- Understanding of autism spectrum disorder or familiarity with children with autism preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer software, including electronic scheduling systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Sensitivity, empathy, and patience when interacting with clients and families.
