- In collaboration with attending physician(s), the NP/PA performs triage, physical exams, collects and documents data, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies, diagnostic procedures and professional consultations, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications, coordinates the care of patients, and provides direct patient care services.
- Analyze clinical practice patterns so as to provide the best medical care and to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Nurse Practitioners: Requires completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, with a Master's degree in Nursing.
- Physician Assistants: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- GA licensure required.
- 1+ years of APP experience strongly preferred.
- One weekend per month (1:4)
- Weekend includes (Saturday Sunday)

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to assist the Carrollton Surgical Group to provide inpatient weekend coverage.
The Tanner Health System (NP/PA) works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide direct patient care services for general surgery patients, under the supervision of the attending providers. The APP provides direct patient care services for consult and follow-up inpatient units in the hospital. Additionally, the APP contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, and provides leadership to the organization.
