    Our team is committed to bridging the gap of care to enhance individuals' independence, maximize their capabilities, and provide meaningful community inclusion by assisting and supporting their choices with regard to housing, socialization, learning, employment opportunities and recreational activities.


    Our ideal candidate is:


    We are hiring an activities director to assist with planning, overseeing and attending small group events at our Innovation Center; an innovative "clubhouse" for individuals with developmental disabilities.

    Our lead staff will work with support from the company's senior level clinicians and management


    Duties will include:
    Researching group classes
    Coordinate and share information with the

    individuals/families

    and other support staff
    Attend group events and act as a role model for other staff
    Work directly with the individuals served
    Prepare items for the groups in advance
    Assist with providing oversight and supervision of staff
    Assist with hiring other support staff
    Attend team meetings
    Driving to events in the community with individuals
    On-Call Rotation responsibilities (will be compensated)


    Requirements:
    1 year experience working with individuals with disabilities.
    2 years experience in management.
    Valid driver's license and must feel comfortable allowing and transporting individuals in your own car.
    We expect the ideal candidate to be self-sufficient, but have the ability to reach out for help when necessary. The ideal candidate must also be a problem solver and have the ability to think quickly on their feet.

    Ideal opportunity for someone who has prior working experience with teens and adults who have developmental disabilities. Ability to offer supervised hours for internships or from BCaBA candidates.

    Schedule will be:
    Full time, 40 hours weekly
    Sunday-Thursdays between 10/1030am-6/630pm, One Friday per month 4pm-8pm with opportunity to flex that time within the week
