    JOB SUMMARY:

    Supervise all aspects of shipping, receiving, warehouse and inventory reporting. Maintain processes to meet organizational short-term and long-term shipping demands. Demonstrates and promotes LHBs values.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Accurately enter and maintain proper data into the requisite platforms for shipping, receiving, inventory and billing.
    • Assist in yearly inventory counts for auditing, inventory control, and cycle counts.
    • Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts and techniques.
    • Oversees Small Parcel and LTL shipments for timely delivery and accuracy
    • Responds to Customer Service needs and inquiries
    • Create call tags/BOLs for returns
    • Processes Sales Return Orders
    • Trains new hires or ensures new hires are being properly trained.
    • Runs daily reports and prioritizes shipments
    • Creates Pick Tickets
    • Communicates with production for production output
    • Processes fill customers orders as soon as they are ready
    • Prepares hazardous materials paperwork for shipments when needed
    • Enters DLA information into their portal
    • Conducts one on one annual performance reviews for direct reports.
    • Performing disciplinary write-ups and incident reports when necessary.
    • Perform daily HUDDLE for shipping team each morning.
    Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE:
    • Solid analytical, math and problem solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
    • Ability to work well with others.
    • Self-motivated.
    • Ability to deal with a variety of changing situations.
    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
    • 3 5 years shipping, receiving, inventory and warehouse experience.
    • Experience with expediting, MRP/ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office applications.
    • Hazmat shipping and receiving experience.
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises, warehouse associates, forklift drivers, shipping clerks, and other shipping and receiving personnel.

    LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
    • Forklift experience/or ability to become licensed
    • Hazmat shipping certification
