As a Key Account Support Specialist you will play a pivotal role in driving client success Directing client annual review process to customers working closely with KAMs managing client business planning forecasting annual reviews and joint business planningYou will leverage insights to develop category review presentations and promotional planning In this role you will also actively manage and develop strategic annual plans for clients You're the expert within client systems and platforms leading all issue resolution activities with client systems identifying all overspend and/or spending shortfalls and working with relevant KAMs to resolve using insights and data to recommend improvements As a KASS you are the expert for the clients products brands SKUs pricing and promotional plans suggesting strategic actions guiding client promo planning activities The Company is one of North America's leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales merchandising category management and marketing services to manufacturers suppliers producers of food products consumer packaged goods services variety of trade channels including grocery mass merchandise specialty convenience drug dollar club hardware consumer electronics home centers bridging gap between manufacturers retailers providing consumers access to best products available in marketplace today Essential Responsibilities Revenue Budget Achievement Research implement effective strategies for clients so they can meet business objectives including revenue market share objectives Make recommendations how clients can achieve financial targets Analysis Presentations Analyze data identify trends recommend opportunities improvement reduce competitive threats Develop conduct negotiations maximize profitability maintain positive relationships Build sales presentations key clients make recommendations customer presentations Client Key Performance Indicators Achievement Analyze performance metrics assigned clients make recommendations improvement Recommend ways improve business margin clients action plans Strategize maximize marketing spend achieve financial goals Review schematics behalf customers coordinate cross-functional stakeholders schematic reset retail departments Data Systems Reporting Drive collaboration internal teams Analyze data reports ensure financial performance meets forecasted targets Align across KAMs highlighting key opportunities challenges suggesting resolutions issues Supervisory Responsibilities Direct Reports This position does not have supervisory responsibilities direct reports Indirect Reports Does not have direct reports but may delegate work others provide guidance direction mentoring indirect reports Minimum Qualifications Education Level Required Bachelor Degree equivalent experience 1-3+ Years experience grocery operations promotional planning activities systems experience preferred Required Knowledge Skills Abilities Strong presentation skills Excellent interpersonal organizational skills Working knowledge syndicated data Proficiency Microsoft Excel Intermediate advanced computer skills Strong written verbal communication skills Conflict management skills Demonstrated ability provide cross-functional leadership Well-organized detail-oriented handle fast-paced work environment Flexible adaptable change projects or changes business environment Ability complete multiple duties accuracy shifting from one another frequent interruptions competing deadlines Job Will Remain Open Until Filled
