- Demonstrated on-the-job experience documenting program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instruction so others can understand the program.
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience with identifying complex problems and translating information to form solution options and implement strategies.
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience developing customized applications to run on a Linux-based system.
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience with virtualized computing, i.e
- Developing software applications using relational databases (SQL/Postgres) and database persistency using JPA
- Experience containerizing and deploying applications using CI/CD tools such as (Git, Kubernetes etc.) and familiarity with service mesh technologies (i.e., Istio)
- Working knowledge of Object-oriented design, usage of commonly used design patterns, message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Hands on experience with Linux/Unix, shell scripting, Junit, and Maven a plus
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience with computer networking
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Agile project management principles and processes
