    Description

    Job Description:

    The VP will represent the "voice" of the Partner Network and will serve to educate partners so they can improve their value proposition and become better partners for ABA member banks. They will oversee the curation and development of content and related resources and services, which will serve as the basis of the growth strategy for Partners. The VP will be the primary product manager for the Partner Network market and continuously innovate to improve the value of the offering and establish a dominant competitive position. They will work with colleagues within the Partner Membership division, as well as across the Communication, Member Experience, Legal, and Policy teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Content creation and curation – Review and curate archive of ABA resources to determine those that are relevant for the Partners and prospects. Review all new ABA content as it is produced to determine relevance. Ideate and develop new potential content pieces or services that would be relevant to Partners. Reframe existing pieces that would benefit from a vendor "lens," and create new resources that might be uniquely valuable to Partner. Label and "productize" new resources to help increase adoption by Partner. Develop and utilize publication and events calendars to encourage repeat utilization. Communicate with existing Partners and ABA Committees to seek feedback on topic and resources of interest. Maintain awareness of emerging areas of need.
    • Cross Promote Partners Content - Develop strategies to connect the bank members to the Partners thought leadership and resources. Assist in approving content from providers for publication on Develops strategies to grow the value proposition for existing Partners, helping maintain retention.
    • Manage a staff member – Manage a person who will share the passion for executing a content-driven membership value proposition. Provide performance management and skill development guidance to build them into a strong commercial leader. Set productivity goals and develop an annual product roadmap to ensure continued relevance to the market and to give commercial teams new sources of value to sell.
    • Distribute content resources – Work with the web team, Partner Network Large Account team, and Partner Delivery team to ensure awareness, promotion, and consumption of key resources. Ensure that relevant resources are available on digital channels (e.g., ) in a timely manner and that resources are effectively promoted to Partners. Turn content into abbreviated versions for the Partner Network as executive summaries or brief training shorts.
    • Collaborate internally – collaborate closely with colleagues within the Partner membership division, as well across the Communications, Member Experience, Legal, and Policy teams.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred or commensurate years of experience.
    • 10+ years of related experience with 7+ years' experience managing a content-driven product offering.
    • Strong journalistic and/or teaching skills strongly preferred, excellent written and verbal communications.
    • 7+ years' Demonstrated experience creating, curating, and repurposing existing content existing content for distinct audiences.
    • 7+ years' experience serving the financial services industry preferred.
    • 7+ years' experience managing a team to develop content, services, and related resources.
    • Strong written communications skills and proven ability to create distinctive, compelling content.
    • People management experience required.
    • Familiarity with the financial services vendor/partner space.
    • Experience bringing to market new content creations, services, or resources for large groups of commercial buyers.
    • Strong attention to detail required.
    • Strong customer service skills required.
    • Demonstrated experience collaborating across diverse functional teams and serving multiple business lines.
    • Ability to travel (<20%).
