What You'll DoPerform Revit/AutoCAD system engineering
Design electrical distribution, lighting and power systems under the direction of a lead engineer
Prepare project deliverables with attention to detail
Read plans and specifications, develop skills to edit/write specifications
Develop the ability to understand other disciplines
Apply building codes and electrical industry standards
Prepare electrical load calculations and electrical equipment selection
Interact with clients and other project team members
Support the project lead in developing opinions of probable construction costs
Contribute to site visits and prepare reports
Utilize understanding of distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Energy analysis using Easy Power
Implement the project quality management plan (QMP)
What You Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline work
Minimum 1-2 years of Electrical E-1 or equivalent experience
Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) preferred
Knowledge of electrical systems and engineering concepts and the ability to effectively communicate to others
Knowledge of project phases
Problem solving and analysis
Delegation skills
Organization and attention to detail
Microsoft Office Suite
Revit/AutoCAD

What We Offer
Hiring Base Salary Range:
$64,000 - $82,000 annual
This position is eligible for straight time overtime pay
The base salary is one component of PAE's competitive compensation package for employees.
We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered.
At PAE, roles are eligible for additional rewards, including salary increases and annual bonuses based on individual performance.The above range represents PAE's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
