    JOB SUMMARY

    Responsible for providing advanced clerical support services to the Support staff. Also responsible for providing daily functional assistance Support Services Representatives, and Support Services Supervisors by being the first line of support for operational concerns and questions.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Include the following. Others may be assigned.
    • Performs various clerical duties such as sorting correspondence, filing, photocopying and scanning and indexing documents. Distributes all incoming department mail and maintains printers. May print, mail and track appeals packets.
    • Logs, research, and works returned checks. Reviews for voids, escheats or reissues. Responsible for resolving accounts on the Unclaimed Property Report (Escheat)
    • Assists with follow-up activities related to patient, guarantor and insurance company correspondence and returned refund checks. Responsible for research and review of zero balance accounts with correspondence.
    • Prepares and distributes pertinent reports to Manager and Supervisor.
    • Other duties as assigned by Management.

    • Must have demonstrated an ability to learn within a short period of time
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

    • 3-5 years business office or related experience
