    The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for all configuration management (CM) related activities. Evaluates requirements and coordinates the development/implementation of configuration management, data management and electronic data support. Manages the engineering document change process. Chairs and/or participates in Change Control Board (CCB). Tracks and monitors Engineering Change Notice (ECN) activity through release/implementation (Windchill) tool. Supports the team with the management of data within Windchill and IFS. Handles CUI, ITAR and other export control or proprietary data. Manages and controls changes to baseline configurations. Monitors configuration management processes and tools. Performs and coordinates audits of systems to verify compliance with established baselines.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyzes changes of product design to determine the effect on the end product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change.
    • Coordinates with customers and manufacturers to determine a process for change reporting.
    • Reviews released engineering change data and changes documenting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.
    • Supports quality, engineering, technology, production, or research departments by collecting and maintaining blueprints, specifications, schematics, or other forms of technical documentation.
    • Ensures documents are retained and destroyed in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Implements processes for document approval, distribution, modification, and destruction.
    • May utilize an electronic document/record management system.
    • Ability to read contracts and understand requirements of documentation

    Qualifications:

    Required Education:

    • Associate's Degree
    • Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience

    Preferred Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Quality or Business Administration preferred

    Years and Area of Experience:

    • 5-7 years of relevant experience
    • Oral and written communication skills; Ability to meet deadlines; Problem-solving skills; Computer skills; Planning skills; Leadership skills
    • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office
