We are seeking a passionate Senior Network Architect/Engineer to design, architect, and implement innovative Enterprise IT solutions for programs across the sector as a member of our Enterprise IT Solutions Factory (ESF) Team.

You will have the unique opportunity to experience and contribute across many aspects of our business, working alongside our programs as they support a diverse set of customers.

What You'll Get to Do

The ESF team participates in innovation projects CACI invests in to develop, mature, and implement corporate-wide capabilities in collaboration with our largest and most strategic programs across the company.

Your focus will be on Network Engineering initiatives promoting the advancement of network modernization frameworks, approaches, toolkits, and solutions t

o enhance DoD networks and cybersecurity posture in support of national security

Specifically, you will:

Serve as technical lead on networking-related innovation projects, including implementing software defined networking architectures in a lab environment and documenting playbooks and repeatable solutions for use in multiple customer environments.

Conduct research to identify new technologies that could improve solutions.

Lead the development of designs and participate in design reviews with the program team or customer.

Facilitate technical exchange meetings with the costumer and provide recommendations on possible solutions.

Develop, design, configure and implement data networking solutions based upon the customer's performance criteria and specifications.

Structure mock designs based upon RFP specifications in support of the Bids & Proposal teams.

Prepare technical documentation describing new networking frameworks, approaches, and toolkits.

Develop and perform technical presentations for customers.

Serve as technical resource at customer briefings.

Develop and perform technical bootcamps.

Mentor junior engineers.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Experience:
7+ years' experience as a Lead Engineer or leading projects of similar scope

Expert level knowledge in multiple networking disciplines, including SDN WAN, SDNA, and 5G with the ability to develop solutions in accordance with Federal Government standards.

Experience in complex network topologies including data, voice, security, virtualization, video, and wireless networks.

Systems integration and testing experience.

Experience with data network switching and routing with products from Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, etc.

Demonstrated ability to organize and develop complex, technical proposals that clearly address customer requirements.

Flexible, decisive & proactive problem solver in a fast-paced environment

Internal and external customer interface experience

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant IT, engineering, or technical field, or equivalent working experience.

Must possess or quickly obtain industry certifications for data networking (CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIP, etc) and security (Security+, CISSP, etc) for IAT Level II

Required Skills:

Hands-on working experience and/or certifications with products and technologies from vendors like: Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, Riverbed, Splunk, etc.

Proficient in Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other software applications as required, including Microsoft SharePoint.

Demonstrated Leadership skills

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Experience in using drawing tools such as Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD is desired

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

Industry certifications related to data networking (CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIP, etc)

Industry certifications related to network security (Security+, CISSP, etc)

Experience with DoD network cyber security and DISA STIG requirements

Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN)

ITIL Foundation Certification

Experience managing projects with large VoIP and Data Network infrastructure modernization

Experience working with DoD customers

Security Requirements

Secret highly desired

Must be able to successfully complete our clearance sponsorship program to obtain an active clearance up to TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (US Citizenship required)
