- Schedule: 7a to 7p, 7p to 7a, or 24-hour shifts (no consecutive 24s; 12-hour break required); 7-15 shifts per month, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care during assigned shifts
- Manage labor and delivery cases, including high-acuity situations
- Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other clinicians to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with facility protocols
- Maryland medical license required
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- Prior laborist experience necessary

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in Maryland
We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in Maryland. This opportunity begins on Feb 1, 2026, for a 45-day assignment and requires a mix of day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays. The schedule offers flexibility, with 7-15 shifts per month and the option to work 12-hour or 24-hour shifts, with mandatory 12-hour breaks between consecutive 24-hour shifts. Candidates must have prior laborist experience and be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
