    SUMMARY: The Attorney Development Manager will have ample experience working closely with lawyers to help them maximize their impact through coaching and training. The ideal candidate will have a JD and would have worked in a firm as an attorney prior to moving to coaching/professional development.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Support and implement initiatives and strategies as aligned with firm business goals and practices
    • Track, maintain and analyze attorney metrics
    • Collaborate with the Director of Attorney Development to evaluate, innovate and adapt Talent initiatives
    • Design and develop individualized development plans for attorneys
    • Assist each practice group with their talent strategies to support the professional success of their associates
    • Implement the annual associate evaluation process
    • Ensure attorneys receive clear and actionable feedback and engage in clear objective-setting
    • Ensure professional development needs are met
    • Plan, prepare and present quarterly briefings to partners on associate development
    • Provide and prepare extensive reporting, analysis, and presentation of data
    • Share resources, contacts and best practices with Recruiting and HR teams
    • Flexibility to adjust hours to meet departmental needs
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • 5+ years of relevant AMLaw firm experience
    • Bachelors Degree required; J.D. preferred
    • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Reasonable level of financial literacy and numeracy; comfortable analyzing data/metrics
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Able to build professional relationships and to work with individuals at all seniority levels
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to balance short and long term priorities and goals
    • Team-oriented and willing to work on other projects as needed
