    Registered Nurse Qualifications

    Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or willingness to obtain (New York nursing jobs)

    Minimum 1 year of recent
    PCU or ICU nursing experience with adult patients

    Current ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

    Proficiency in advanced hemodynamics, pressor titration, and respiratory support (HFNC, BiPap/CPAP)

    Ability to pass a clinical competency test within 24 hours of submission

    Experience with Epic electronic medical records (EMR)

    Strong knowledge of infection prevention protocols

    PCU RN Responsibilities

    Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex trauma, and surgical complications

    Manage advanced therapies including antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, arterial lines, CVP, EVD, and orthopedic traction

    Monitor and titrate medications according to clinical protocols

    Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR

    Adhere to infection prevention standards and hospital policies

    Care for an average caseload of 3 high-acuity patients per shift
