    SUMMARY

    As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will provide skilled services under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. It's crucial to educate patients and ensure their safety, as well as maintain accurate documentation.

    QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:

    • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
    • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
    • Desireable home care experience
    • Strong communication skills and ability to make sound judgments
    • Knowledge of therapy best practices
    • Detail-oriented and observant
    • Ability to prioritize and work efficiently
    • Valid driver's license and auto insurance

    MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

    • Provide skilled services following the Physical Therapist plan of care
    • Record patient progress and react accordingly
    • Administer prescribed physical therapy procedures
    • Educate patients and their families
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals
    • Recommend or evaluate orthotic devices for patients
    • Complete all necessary documentation accurately

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Visit patients as scheduled
    • Document all aspects of visits promptly
    • Follow the plan of care efficiently

    HEALTH QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must meet all physical requirements and maintain health standards to perform job functions.

    Physical Demands: Read below the minimal requirements for this position.

    Constantly (66%-100%): Various activities like reading, speaking, walking, etc.

    Frequently (34%-66%): Includes driving and lifting up to 50 lbs.

    Occasionally (2%-33%): N/A
