    Purpose:
    We are looking for highly motivated and a hands-on individual to join our cost accounting team. This role requires an in-depth involvement in all aspects of tracking product costs. Ability to work and interact with various cross-functional teams across the company is essential to succeed in this role.
    This is a Temporary Position.
    Job Responsibilities

    Position Responsibilities:
    Responsibility for accounting, tracking, and analysis of component level product costs
    Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Logistics and Production teams to develop standard freight costs and adjust them on at least a seasonal basis
    Work in conjunction with IT on publishing and uploading freight standards into ERP system and developing any necessary reporting related to cost accounting needs
    Calculate and explain purchase price variances (actual cost vs. standard cost) on a monthly basis
    Perform account analysis and reconciliation of various General Ledger activity for all cost of goods expenses
    Create and publish management level reporting if inbound Freight expenses
    Participation in various aspects of annual budget process
    Work on various special projects as directed by Finance and Accounting leadership
    Perform analysis of various supply chain related costs
    Assist in providing necessary data for year-end and bank audits.
    Qualifications

    Position Requirements:
    5+ years of work experience in Cost Accounting, General Accounting, or Financial Analysis. Experience in the apparel industry is a plus.
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management.
    Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
    Ability to manage, analyze and maneuver data from several sources.
    Extremely detail oriented
    Ability to summarize activity for management level presentation.
    Self-Starter with strong communication skills (written and verbal) and able to work independently.
    Collaborate with cross functional partners, spanning multiple brands and departments within the organization.
    Experience with SAP, Infor, GTNexus, Maersk, FTZ is a plus.
    Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company.
    Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
    Must have authorization to work in the United States.

    Ability to reach at or below shoulder level
    Ability to carry equipment, moving boxes/samples, etc
    This is a Temporary position. Hourly pay is $30 - $40 hourly depending on experience.
