    Our client, a large non-profit located in the downtown area of New Orleans, it's looking for a customer/client expert If you have a successful history of working with the public and of top-level conflict resolution, this is a great opportunity This position is temporary and will run a minimum of six months with the possibility of extending further with high call volumes. Pay is commiserate with experience, and will start between $30/hr. and $40/hr.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide one-on-one assistance to residential and commercial/industrial customers, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
    • Handle utility billing issues arising from incoming calls, ensuring efficient resolution.
    • Assist customers with questions.
    • Communicate and facilitate upcoming changes coming to the billing process.
    • Proactively engage with customers to ensure timely bill payments, mitigating contested bills through clear explanations of new billing
    Requirements:
    • Previous experience with large commercial and industrial customers preferred.
    • Proficiency in managing difficult customer conversations.
    • Strong conflict resolution skills, capable of making informed decisions based on detailed account data.
    • Ability to report trends and patterns in customer issues to management for strategic adjustments.
