The opportunity
This is a remote opportunity that can be performed within Continental United States.
You'll have responsibilities withintheIdentity and AccessManagement (IAM) teamthat supportsvarious applications incloudplatformservices acrossthe Government and Public Sector (GPS) businessunit.
You'll support the end-to-end aspects of services including but not limited to service engineering, break/fix support, service roadmaps and standards, vendor management.
You'll also have responsibilities to include ensuring stability for application platforms and/or services under their responsibility including resolution of incidents and problems, maintenance and support, application platform change control, and automation of processes and procedures.
As IAM Engineer, you will also work with the PKI Architect in identifying and defining problems, designing optimum solutions, implement and provide support of new or enhanced PKI services across the GPS organization.
Maintaining ongoing knowledgeand supportof aligned applications such as:
Azure Cloud hosted services
Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)
Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS)
Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS)
Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS)
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Maintain ongoing knowledge and support ofservers and networks aligned to the Active Directory environments including but not limited to:
Systems Center Operations Manager Administration
Windows 2008 and 2012 Administration and Infrastructure
Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration and remediation, and
Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
Deploying AD DS on Azure VM's and install replica Domain Controllers or Forests in an Azure virtual networkas needed
IntegratingotherIdentity Infrastructure with Azure AD identity authentication services
Creating and configuring Azure Active Directory services for authenticating applications in Azure Cloud
Managing data stored in Azure Active Directory via Azure AD PowerShell cmdlet.
Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) such as Azure MFA integration into the authentication, authorization, and singlesign-on process for applications and systems
API Gateways, Enterprise Databases, SSO and Access Management systems, identity federation protocols (SAML), OIDC, OAuth2 and LDAP
Azure Management including application proxy, SSO, MFA, Licensing, Azure PIMand Microsoft Conditional Access Policies
The role may also require the periodic allocation of additional time on the job to support multiple demands and escalating issues or to accommodate teams or staff in other time zones
Assess and define problems or opportunities for improvement by providing documented business, functional, operational, and security requirements to be addressed by future state solutions
Communicate design approaches and recommendations effective to gain stakeholder approvals and agreements
Coordinate design activities across multiple teams and services to ensure successful completion of complex projects
Develop both technical and functional solutions that integrate with business processes
Skills and attributes for success
Core understanding of Azure Active Directory Tenant deployment and Azure Directory management
Understanding of application registration and Key Management using the Azure AD Admin Center
Understanding of Azure Administrator Roles, Units and emergency accounts to enable policies at a granular level for access administration
Ability to manage multiple directories in the Azure environment.
Strong organizational skills, self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective teaming and knowledge sharing skills
Advanced skills in planning, designing and troubleshooting complexcloud environments
Solid understanding ofCloudenvironment andsecurity best practices
Good understanding of ITIL
Strong ability to document processes, procedures and security designs clearly and accurately for distribution to internal teams and customers
Understanding of other technologies required to run a secure enterprise level infrastructure
Demonstrated experience in dealing with external vendors and suppliers in the security industry

To qualifyfor theroleyou must have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
5+ years ofcloud infrastructure
5+ years ofhands onexperience in designing and implementingCloudservices likeAzureAD,AzureMFA, AzureConditional AccessForwarder, Azure B2B and Azure PIM
Demonstrated deep expertise incloud infrastructure
Experience with writing custom, scripting tools (Python, PowerShell, etc.), interacting with API's and shell scripting
Experience in MS Certificate Management Services and Active Directory Domain Services.
Experience in SSL certificate management concepts, processes, and solution management. Direct experience Azure PKI solutions is highly desirable.
Experience with PKI implementation and certificate lifecycle management solution.
Experience with hardware security module (HSM) technology.
Experience in cloud solution development with Azure architectures as it related to PKI management.
A deep understanding of digital certificate lifecycle management functions and broad experience with different certificate types and uses
A broad understanding of the available PKI vendors and technologies offering technical solutions in the market
Knowledge and experience with cryptographic protocols, services, and standards
Ability to collect, refine, and analyze business requirements and develop innovative solutions
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Strong English language skills are required – written and verbal
Good judgment, tact, and decision-making ability
Ability to work in a diverse, multi-cultural, environment
Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Security Clearance
Ideally, you'll also have
Azure certification for implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions will be an added advantage
Involved in large scale IT deployments orcloud infrastructure
At least one technical certificationinAzure platform
Experience with key PKI technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services including Certificate Authority, NDES, and OCSP and HSM providers.
Experience with certificate request and issuance processes integrating to ServiceNow automation
At least one technical certificationinAzure platformthat includes: security & certificate authorities/PKI.
