JOB SUMMARY
Revenue Manager is responsible for both strategic and tactical initiatives related to revenue maximization.
As a member of theRevenue ManagementDepartment, you will have the opportunity tosetstrategic direction, determine pricing, createpromotions, and explore new distribution opportunities.
You will own the implementation of a businessplanand product strategy. You will have exposure to senior management and work closely with Sales,Marketing, Trade Support and Services andReservations.CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience
Minimum of 2-4 years of successful revenue management hotel experience
JOB ESSENTIALS

Revenue
Achieve all budgeted numbers.
Daily involvement in sales and revenue management.
At times, assist team in closing business.
Ensure consistent positive RevPAR Index.
Attend at minimum two revenue calls per month per hotel and contribute.
Reporting
Provide accurate timely reports to the Executive Vice President and COO as per directed.
Understand the hotels you manage.
Culture / Morale / Turnover / Team Member Relations
Lead by example, build a solid culture and minimize team member turnover.
When on visits, attend departmental stand up meetings, hold one on ones with hotel staff and hold team accountable.
Maintenance / Safety
Verify on property walk throughs that solid preventative maintenance programs are in place for the entire hotel and equipment, etc.
Conduct safety inspections.Brand Compliance
Must ensure passing of all brand training, QA inspections, etc.
Be at or higher than brand thresholds.
Travel
Job consists of 80% travel.
Regional Vice Presidents must visit their hotels frequently (need hotels prioritized) and conduct full hands on support and analysis to ensure hotels are performing at their optimal best.
Ensure all properties are controlling all expenses, re-bid service agreements, ensure PO and labor systems are in place and followed.
Achieve or exceed profitability numbers.Ensure labor reports are in place and staffing guidelines makes sense.

Manage and maintain group and transientinventorycontrols
Develop, monitor, and adjust sales and pricing strategies
Provide criticalanalysisof strategies, room's statistics and demand factors
Conduct competitive and demand analysis
Maintain distribution channel data integrity.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
Develops near and long term top-line rooms revenue hotelforecastsupon request from the Regional Director of Revenue Management.
Loads all preferred, consortia and promotional rates in GDS andPMS
Spearheads troubleshooting and resolution of any GDS rate loading issues as they occur.
Analyzes independently and determines whether hotel is effectivelymarketingitself across electronic distribution channels.
Participate and prepare rolling forecast and annualbudgetfor each property using PMS, Delphi, Redx, IDeaS andforecastingtools RevTOOLS.
Ensure that all rooms statistics reports, including theFinancial statement, and any other related reports are accurate and consistent
Ensure that all revenue management related systems are maintained including Opera/Fidelio/Protel, Redx/Synxis/ IDeaS, Electronic channels, GDS, and Delphi.
Support the NSA at the property level to complete the monthlyauditin making sure that the Delphi / IDeaS system is being utilized effectively.
Attend Weekly Sales Meeting to maintain communication of strategies and need periods.Perform revenue management service for a select group of hotels.
Manage all aspects of rate &inventory managementas outlined in the services contract.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including Holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
Frequent travel via car and by plane.
