- Internal Medicine
- Must possess a valid license as a Veterinary Technician or be board eligible
- Minimum of two years of experience working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Experience in specialty medicine preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- VTS in Internal Medicine encouraged to apply.
- Proper handling and restraint of medically compromised patients
- Triage and intake skills/TPR
- Critical thinking in emergency setting
- Perform technical procedures such as venipuncture, administering IV fluids, and catheter placement.
- Perform drug calculations, administer controlled and non controlled medications PO, SQ, IM, and IV as directed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor, induce, maintain and recover patients undergoing anesthetic procedures
- Provide nursing care and treatment to hospitalized patients
- Educate pet owners on post-operative and at-home care for their pets.
- Assist with advanced imaging (Fluoroscopy/X-ray/Ultrasound/MRI/CT)
- Communicate with other departments within the hospital or clinic for the overall success of the practice.

As an Internal Medicine Technician, you will be responsible for providing veterinary care for our patients. You will work with our veterinary team to provide high-quality medical care to both pets and their owners.
