    As a Field Service Engineer II - DCS, Telecommunication and Electrical here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our customers in the field.

    You will work with a team of engineers to install, maintain, and troubleshoot DCS (Distributed Control Systems), telecommunication, and electrical systems.

    Your expertise and knowledge will ensure the efficient and effective operation of our customers systems, and you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and customer satisfaction.


    You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and youll work out of our designated field locations on a hybrid work schedule.

    The salary range for this position in Colorado is: $100,000, which includes hourly pay + Overtime (1.5 x hourly rate) The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Installing, configuring, and commissioning DCS, telecommunication, and electrical systems

    Honeywell Visualization (HMI) Configuration

    Knowledge of multiple Control Communication Protocols – EthenetIP, Modbus, OPC/DA, OPC/UA, Profibus/net, CIP, DLR

    Control System Design (Block Diagram, Panel Layout and Wiring Diagrams, DC Load List, Hazardous Area, etc)

    Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure system reliability

    Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner

    Providing technical support and training to customers and end-users

    Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions

    Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies

    YOU MUST HAVE
    High School Diploma or equivalent

    4+ years of experience with control methodology, with a focus on DCS, PLC and HMI platforms

    2+ years of electronics/instrumentation experience


    WE VALUE
    Advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering) are desired

    4+ years experience with DCS control systems (Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa, ABB, Bailey, Siemens, and others, while not required, will be considered a plus)

    Experience in working with industrial automation systems

    Knowledge of networking protocols and communication interfaces

    Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    Experion PKS Hardware & Software (Highly desired)

    Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering exceptional service
