    Job Description

    Position: Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher at XYZ Childcare


    Summary

    • Responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team
    • Coordinating the curriculum
    • Managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom

    As a teacher, you'll need to have a good grasp of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment where kids can thrive.

    The Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher should excel in communicating with both children and adults to address the children's needs, guide school-age assistants effectively, and address parental concerns.


    Duties
    • Coordinate and implement an educational school-age program with developmentally appropriate practices
    • Plan engaging age-appropriate activities for children
    • Maintain regular communication with parents through various channels
    • Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment
    • Lead by example and mentor others
    • Adhere to program policies and state regulations
    • Keep accurate records for assessments

    Requirements
    • Experience in a childcare setting
    • Pass background checks and health assessments
