Blue Rose is seeking a Java Developer to support our work with a federal client in Annapolis Junction, MD. This is a Hybrid role (currently onsite 2x every 2 weeks, on a rotational schedule by team) and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.

An ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance is required prior to starting work. Therefore, candidates with a current clearance are highly preferred. Candidates without an active clearance may be considered but should expect a lengthy wait for processing before a start date is established (3-6 months).

In this role you will be responsible for design and development of Java code for a large-scale Federal IT Program.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 4 years' experience of Java development experience in order to build enterprise applications
• Minimum 4 years' experience of hands-on Java development
• Minimum 3 years' experience of work experience with Web development technologies (HTML, JSP, etc.)
• Minimum 3 years' experience of work experience with Linux/Unix shell scripting (e.g. ksh, bash, csh, etc.)
• Minimum 2 years' experience with using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
• Experience with J2EE or other Java frameworks (e.g. Spring)
• Experience using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a large-scale Federal IT Program
• Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework
• Active Secret Level Security Clearance preferred

Salary: $105,000 - $120,000
