    Pinnacle Premix provides premixing, manufacturing, and distribution of formulated products to every sector of the feed industry. Our Woodburn location is locally managed and distributes premix for feed and pet food.

    This position is responsible for the safe day-to-day operation of warehouse activities.

    Responsibilities:
    • Obtain a thorough working knowledge of warehousing systems, locations, products, product lots, pending inventory, and QC HOLD inventory
    • Must maintain warehouse in a highly organized and clean manner to ensure safety and GMPs.
    • Be knowledgeable of warehouse equipment function and operation
    • Including but not limited to: forklifts, pallet jack, shrink wrapper, docks, scanners
    • Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment
    • Place appropriate priority with shipping, receiving, and production staging throughout the workday
    • Finalize production and storage of finished goods (shrinking wrapping and lot label)
    • Perform inspections of product at receiving as well as vessels involved in the transport
    • Perform inventory cycle counts
    • Efficiently move inventory while minimizing product damage
    • Assist QC with sanitation plan for property
    • Cooperate with all co-workers so roles and functions are streamlined.
    Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
    • Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of warehousing experience.
    • Previous experience in manufacturing food or animal feed is a plus.
    • Previous experience with warehouse automation software using bar codes and location codes.
    Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative management style
    • Knowledge of production processes, quality assurance, costs, and techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of products.
    • Must be self-motivated, dependable, honest and thorough. A versatile self-starter with a positive attitude who is cautiously assertive.
    • Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
    • Strong project management, organizational, and communications skills are required.
    • Thorough in completing tasks and focused on quality output with attention to detail.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines with internal and external customers and effectively communicate information and ideas (written and verbal) so others comprehend.
    • Ability to plan for future business growth as it relates to warehouse capacity and storage.
    Physical Requirments:
    • Employee is required to frequently sit, stand, walk, push, pull, climb, reach overhead and bend to the floor.
    • Must be able to perform repetitive motion activities throughout the day.
    • Must be able to operate a forklift and move 50 lb or 25 kg sacks on a routine basis.
    Environment:
    • Occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
    • Occasionally exposed to dusty and noisy conditions on a regular basis
