ATC Healthcare is searching for a skilled CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT (CNA)

Are you interested in joining a part-time position at a lovely senior living facility in the beautiful Carlsbad locality? We have a fantastic team of staff and administration prepared to provide you with an enriching experience. The Certified Nursing Assistant offers services to fulfill the personal care requirements of the patient in multiple healthcare environments under the guidance of a licensed professional. The Certified Nursing Assistant administers nursing care tailored to match the age group of the patients attended. Compensation offered is between $19 to $21 per hour / A minimum of ONE year of Certified Nurse Assistant work background is required

Certified Nurse Assistant REQUIREMENTS:

Successful completion of a state-approved certified nursing program and/or passing a competency evaluation program meeting state regulations
Fulfillment of state-specific certification criteria and possession of an unrestricted CNA certification
Minimum of ONE YEAR work experience as a CNA within a healthcare setting
Maintenance of current CPR certification as required by the client's facility; compliance with additional health and screening assessments as mandated by specific facilities and regulatory bodies

Certified Nurse Assistant ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Operation in diverse client facility setups; potential exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials

Certified Nurse Assistant DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CNA:

Adherence to ATC policies/procedures
Adherence to the nursing policies/procedures of the client facility
Upholding confidentiality concerning patient care and facility protocols in alignment with HIPAA regulations
Effective communication of information to the appropriate personnel
Accurate documentation of patient care tasks as delegated per facility protocols
Execution of the patient's care plan as assigned
Provision of personal care services to patients based on assignments
Recording of vital signs and documentation following facility procedures
Recording patient input and output based on assignments
Continuous maintenance of competency through participation in ongoing education programs and meeting state-specific prerequisites
Delivery of patient care in a non-biased, non-discriminatory manner that respects cultural diversity and age appropriateness, ensuring the preservation of autonomy, rights, and dignity
Performance of additional duties as required
