    JOB SUMMARY: Abstract and examine public records via online applications
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Extract/obtain title evidence (i.e. deed copies, mortgage copies, etc.) from various databases and/or county websites to facilitate the preparation of title reports/title commitments.
    • Analyze & evaluate pertinent record documents for determination of ownership, legal descriptions and any encumbrances to title.
    • Assign orders to Westcor vendor partners and thoroughly communicate instructions and expectations for timely completion and delivery of assignments.
    • Process orders by entering into the system accurately and in a timely manner to ensure customer loan/mortgage requirements are met.
    • Provide back-up to various department functions when necessary to ensure continuation of department workflow.
    • Additional responsibilities as assigned
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 1-2 years related experience
    • Supervisory experience preferred by not required
    • Bachelors degree preferred but not required
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
    • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize
    • Decision making and problem solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Interpersonal skills
    • Real Estate industry knowledge helpful
