    The Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a Grant Writer to join the research administration team. We are looking for a motivated individual to contribute to our mission of excellence in neurological sciences.

    The ideal Grant Writer will work closely with faculty to drive our externally funded research initiatives. Responsibilities include developing, editing, and submitting grant proposals, managing research programs, analyzing data, and contributing to program planning.

    Duties include:

    • Develop and manage research programs
    • Identify new research opportunities
    • Contribute to strategic planning
    • Write content for proposals and publications
    • Coach and mentor program staff

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Advanced degree in biomedical science or related field. Experience in grant application processes and excellent communication skills.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

    Bachelor's degree with relevant experience. Financial management experience is a plus.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):

    Ability to develop partnerships, strong communication skills, and basic budget management knowledge.

    CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:

    Advanced degree or certification may be required for some programs.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Various physical tasks involved. On-campus mobility required.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Flexible work hours and occasional travel.

    WORK STANDARDS:

    Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to safety.

    - The expected pay range for this position is $95,000 to $139,000 per annum. Specifics about the rewards package may be discussed during the hiring process. Stanford University is an equal opportunity employer.
