    Mechanical Design Engineer
    San Antonio, TX (On-site)
    $70K-$90K
    Permanent

    Premier Group has engaged exclusively with a terrain equipment company in the heart of Texas. They are now looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer. If you have experience with
    machine design, material handling, or construction equipment, then that is a great step


    Within this mechanical engineering role, will work in a rough terrain environment and will be responsible for designing new products as well as improving current products used.

    You will also be responsible for product testing, 3D modeling, and prototyping. Additionally, you will need to prepare technical results from testing new products. Finally, you will need to adhere to codes and standards in regard to each project.

    The ability to change and adapt to overcome problems will be crucial in this role.


    Other qualifications needed:
    CATIA V5
    3D CAD
    SmartTeam

    FEA
    FMEA (DFMEA / PFMEA)


    Knowledge needed:
    Experience with transducers, strain gauges, calibration, and anemometers
    Ability to read and interpret technical documents and write reports/correspondence
    knowledge of electrical and mechanical processes
    Ability to problem solve involving concrete variables and standardized situations
