This is a 7-month contract position as Material Coordinator/Scheduler at Welch MN-Prairie Island Nuclear Plant Hybrid Role Coordinate resources equipment and processes to perform and improve Supply Chain services delivery to the customer Plan and develop material fulfillment asset disposal methods for complex construction projects Ensure compliance with Inventory/Material Management Procedures achieve inventory management material availability process improvement goals Mentor Associate Supply Strategist Supply StrategistResponsibilities
- Maintain relationships with vendors logistics buyers/planners accounts payable project managers construction engineering standards on successful execution of material fulfillment activities
- Works to resolve complex material fulfillment solutions based on job specifics conditions Prepare deliver presentations on department projects supply chain processes strategic plans Observe material fulfillment trends counsel Departments applying analysis industry insight Experience supplier programs manufacturing processes commodities engineering equipment major commodity fulfillment processes Negotiate suppliers mitigate delivery risk creating complex solutions support critical material strategies Manage direct material delivery Act subject matter expert developing evaluating material strategies Perform ad-hoc data compilation analysis functions support review performance management supplier's evaluated Strategic Sourcing organization Provide expertise advice counsel Client personnel contractors suppliers establish working relationships internal organizations external entities Provide analysis guidance governance corporate Supply Chain procedures controls fleet wide Communicate project-related status all levels Client personnel including management Experience project planning scheduling concepts industry trends Represent Supply Chain field corporate level work management meetings Tracks process improvement concepts support improved work management process Manage materials provide direction others large projects Leads process improvement plans assigned Leads plans improve performance resolve issues disputes moderate scope Participate understanding important milestones overall schedule supply supports Achieve milestones related requisitioning disposition Represent recommend solutions site work meetings experts Manage most complex projects specialists associates Analyze gaps opportunities incremental improvements gap guide incremental improvements communication Project Managers Buyers/Planners accurate forecasts plan deliveries Prepare reporting provides insight inspires change Use reporting presentations directions specialists associates enable department requirements Providing ensure following approved corporate procedures Subject matter guidance Buyers/Planner end-users about strategy Create recommendations reduce availability interface buyers/planners vendors correct settings materials database Build use complex forecast reporting ensure supply levels Advise application within categories Lead partnering lower costs continuing service Levels Advocate initiative teams
