- Design, develop, and program controls systems to support automated equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and controls issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain controls logic, alarm strategies, and troubleshooting workflows to improve system reliability and serviceability.
- Support product deployment by working cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams to ensure proper controls integration.
- Create documentation outlining controls operation, troubleshooting procedures, and integration requirements.
- Design test sequences and diagnostic methodologies to isolate and resolve system faults efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and enhance tools, features, and controls strategies.
- Analyze field performance and warranty data to continuously improve controls functionality and alarm accuracy.
- Provide technical guidance and support to production, quality, and service teams.
- Assist with customer system integration and ensure controls solutions meet application and performance requirements.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field OR 7+ years of experience programming, troubleshooting, and supporting industrial electrical and controls systems.
- Experience with refrigeration controls programming and integration.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills involving electrical and controls systems.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC controls, or fluid mechanics is highly preferred.
- Experience with commercial or industrial controls platforms such as Emerson/Copeland, Danfoss, Carel, or similar systems is a plus.
- Ability to clearly document technical processes and communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
