    Our client is a dynamic and innovative company at the forefront of the Aerospace Industry. As they continue to grow and expand their operations, they are seeking a talented individual to join their team as the Director of Supplier Development.

    What You'll Do:

    • Take ownership of ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery performance from the Archer supply base throughout NPI (New Product Introduction) and production phases of Archer programs.
    • Assess supply base readiness for programs, identifying risks, and developing appropriate mitigation plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Lead all supplier development activities, including NPI, industrialization, production ramp-up, and change management, ensuring proper execution of contracts.
    • Proactively identify and manage risks and challenges within the supply base, developing recovery plans and implementing RCCAs (Root Cause Corrective Actions) as needed.
    • Foster productive and collaborative partnerships with the supply base to achieve expected performance levels.
    • Build and grow the Suppliers Development team.
    • Develop and implement Suppliers Development policies, processes, and procedures.
    • Collaborate with other departments to continuously improve departmental policies and procedures to enhance organizational value and efficiency.
    • Develop and manage department performance metrics aligned with Archer goals.
    • Travel up to 50% during the NPI phase, with expectations to decrease as the supply base stabilizes.

    What You Need:

    • 15 years of related experience and 10 years of supervisory experience.
    • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain.
    • Ability to work onsite at our HQ and comfortable with 50% travel, varying based on project milestones.
    • Results-oriented and metrics-driven leader with experience in supplier development, industrial engineering, supplier quality, or manufacturing management.
    • Experience working with suppliers in a fast-paced, highly technical, and regulated environment.
    • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and effectively problem-solve.
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
    • Strong analytical and computer skills.
    • Outstanding team-building and leadership skills.

    Bonus Qualifications:

    • APICS certification.
    • Aerospace experience preferred.
