    Team Overview
    We are looking for a Business Analyst to join us in our Berkeley Heights, New Jersey office. In this role you will be working on our EquiLend Spire product and client integrations and will work closely with the the development team and software testers on the product roadmap and sprint planning. This role would suit someone who has previous experience working independently as a Business Analyst on tasks such as sprint planning and providing requirements to developers for implementation, as well as being detail oriented as you will be working with large amounts of data with a need for high accuracy.

    EquiLend Spire is a state of the art platform and technology driven hub for securities finance firms, featuring modules that cater to the specific client needs across the front, middle, and back office. Our product is used by many financial institutions in order to streamline their securities finance needs.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Develop sprint plans and product roadmaps for the implementation of client systems with EquiLend Spire.
    • Manage client stakeholder relationships ensuring a seamless product integration experience
    • Capture, document and maintain business and functional requirements, process and system flows, and test plans ensuring stakeholder alignment at all times.
    • Work independtly with developers sharing system requirements gathered from the client and collaborate on a plan to put this into production.
    • Communicate key project updates to stakeholders at all levels in a concise and timely manner
    • Ensure the seamless integration and implementation of clients data into the EquiLend Spire product.
    • Work with the relevant teams to implement new UI features into the EquiLend Spire product.
    • Write user stories, participate in scrum calls, prioritize the backlog and sprint planning using tools such as Jira.
    • Identify roadblocks on the pathway to completion and propose solutions and/or escalate accordingly.

    Required Skills

    • 2+ years experience in a similar Business Analyst role
    • Hands on experience designing, gathering requirements and building out product roadmaps with internal and/or external clients.
    • You have direct experience working with developers and testers to implement your product roadmap into production.
    • Previous experience with working in an Agile environment
    • You have experience with Jira and other project management related tools.
    • You are detail oriented and understand that data integration is a methodical process.
    • You posses an analytical mindset and structured approach to problem solving.
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
    • You are a team player that works well with both technical and non-technical resources.
    • Experience with SQL is desired.
    • Experience in Financial Services or FinTech is desired.
