    Summary You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the SECURITY PROGRAMS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT BRANCH of HQ US MARINE CORPS
    Duties


    • You will serve as a Security Specialist and provide guidance and recommendations to senior level Marine Corps officials for the evaluation, planning and implementation of security programs.
    • You will balance current security requirements while forecasting future developments over the course of several years for long range planning purposes.
    • You will establish administrative procedures and methods within the branch, analyze, review, and manage administrative procedures, controls, files and directives, and forms and records management functions.
    • You will develop security policies and procedures, present tailored classes or security briefings, maintain files/databases, prepare briefings and visual training aids, and produce written reports.
    • You will serve as the Contracting Officer Representative for the acquisition and management of the Branch's Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) program HQMC Construction Security Plans

    • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
    You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

    Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing large scale security efforts involving multiple agencies, balancing security requirements while forecasting future developments in long-range planning, developing security policy and procedures, presenting security briefings to higher level leadership, and managing and overseeing program plans as a technical authority
