    Position: Lead Kitting Operator

    Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Kitting Operator to join our dynamic team. The Lead Kitting Operator will be responsible for overseeing the kitting process, ensuring that materials are accurately assembled and delivered to the production line in a timely manner. This role requires strong leadership abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Supervise and coordinate the kitting team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
    • Perform kitting operations, including picking, packing, and labeling materials according to specifications.
    • Train and mentor kitting team members, providing guidance on best practices and safety procedures.
    • Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
    • Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues as needed, escalating maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as production, logistics, and quality assurance, to optimize processes and resolve any issues that may arise.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in logistics or related field preferred.
    • Proven experience in a kitting or warehouse environment.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
    • Knowledge of inventory management systems and proficiency in using warehouse technology (e.g., barcode scanners, ERP software).
    • Understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to warehouse operations.
    • Flexibility to work occasional weekends, or overtime as needed.
