    Job Summary:

    The ideal candidate for the Plant Engineer role should be passionate about helping the Company design and implement processes and projects to improve plant performance and/or meet our customer's needs.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Investigate equipment and infrastructure needs issues and work with cross functional teams to coordinate solutions
    • Design and implement solutions for ongoing issues and validate effectiveness
    • Create Engineering Notices to communicate new processes and proper operating procedures to plant personnel
    • Define new plant equipment specifications and work with internal and external groups to install new equipment
    • Define new support equipment specifications and work with internal and external groups to install new equipment
    • Participate on new product launch process
    • Maintain effective working relationships within/between departments
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Plant Engineering
    Skills, Qualifications, Education and/or Relevant Experience:

    Required
    • 4 year degree
    • 5 + years engineering experience in a manufacturing plant environment
    • High aptitude in plant electro/mechanical systems with a focus on fluid dynamics
    • Success in planning, executing and managing projects
    • Strong computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
    • Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business.
    • CAD experience

    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upwardly to top management and downward to a wide range of audiences.
    • Excellent problem solving abilities and mathematical aptitude.
    • Must be self-directed, motivated, and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
    • Precise and articulate written and oral communication. Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates individual and group presentation skills.
