    Laboratory Technician

    As a(n) Laboratory Technician you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.


    Here, you will make an impact by:

    • Leads testing on a specific project, working with a senior chemist to test solutions for new products or the re-qualification of existing products. Implements new and existing test methods to perform physical, optical and mechanical analysis on coated films
    • Supports product developers by actively engaging in communication related to testing and results, equipment issues, and workload progress.
    • Determines sample properties and whether the performance is correct and accurate. Record and report those results back to the product developer.
    Your Skills and Expertise

    To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


    • Bachelor's Degree in a science related discipline
    • Three (3) years of job-related experience

    AND
    In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:


    • Experience with physical property testing of PSAs (pressure sensitive adhesives)
    • Experienced in training other technicians on test methods
    Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

    Travel:
    May include up to 10 % domestic travel

    Applicable to US Applicants Only:

    The expected compensation range for this position is $80,370 - $98,230, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.

    This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.

    The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.

    In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
