Under direction of theInformation Technology Manager I (ITM I), the Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) demonstrates a depth of leadership and expertise in one or more domains.

The incumbent performs a wide variety of tasks requiring innovative problem-solving where guidance is not readily available.

Optimizes and applies database administration solutions for the benefit of the Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) and plays a major role in advising management or formulating information technology strategy and policy within the Database Administration Unit, Systems Operations Section, Infrastructure & Operations Branch, within Technology Services Division (TSD).
