- Monitors casino floors, stairs, mirrors, glass and assigned areas to ensure quality and cleanliness.
- Services assigned areas daily, including vacuuming, cleaning or restrooms, ash/rash urns, elevators, dusting, polishing, and sweeping.
- Mop, sweep, and clean restrooms to include sink and mirrors-wall, toilet, floors, etc.
- Monitors restrooms to always ensure that they clean and orderly.
- Completely cleans entire Casino floor including, vacuuming, gaming tables, shampoo carpeting, and cleaning hard surface flooring, etc.
- Obtain necessary cleaning supplies from supply room and notifies management when supplies need to be ordered.
- Responsible for quickly responding the Bio Hazards, including urine, blood, vomit, feces, etc.
- Maintains equipment and supplies in a clean, safe manner.
- Reports maintenance to supervisor immediately.
- Guard against theft of privileged information.
- Turn in all lost and found items to security in a timely manner.
- Perform all job duties safely using personal protective equipment.
- Comply with all departmental Policies and procedures and service guarantees.
- Attends all training classes as requested.
- Attends and participates in a pre-shift department meeting.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
- Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
- Must present a neat and professional appearance and possess well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Receive instructions and hear inquiries from guests, clients, or staff.
- Work requires flexibility to work various shifts.
- Requires ability to lift and carry approximately 80 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, ascend and descend down stairs, and maintain equilibrium.
- Work requires visual abilities needed to safely operate motorized equipment.
- Requires attention to detail and must have visual capabilities needed to inspect work upon completion to avoid leaving deficient work.
- Must be able to operate buffer, auto scrubber, forklift, electric pallet jack, carpet extractor, marble polishing machine. Wet and dry vac, pressure washer, and additional equipment assigned by management.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to receive instructions and hear inquiries from guests, clients, or staff.
- Ability to maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift.
- Must be able to work with a diverse group of individuals with multi-cultural backgrounds.
- Must be 21 years of age and older.
- Hotel and/or Casino industry experience preferred.
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar position.

Description
WHAT YOU'LL DOResponsible for providing friendly, courteous service to our guests every time while cleaning in their assigned area. The Utility Cleaner fulfills all deep cleaning and scrubbing, polishing, and heavy work on the casino floor including areas above 6ft. Utility Cleaner can be expected to perform tasks ranging from disposal of trash and window cleaning to work requiring the use of ladders, lifts, and motorized carts. Also, must display a strong commitment to guest service through the delivery and maintenance of our service standards, safety, and standard operating procedures.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, and within established deadlines. Must be able to lift up to 80lbs and handle sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a time manner.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in a various environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust, and smoke.
PAY RANGE
•The pay range for this position is $20.04-$25.05/ hourly.
