We are seeking aPerformance Analyst
at our downtown Cleveland, Ohio wealth management firm.
This position will support the firm by managing and overseeing the data integrity of our systems to provide accurate, current, and timely information to support quality assurance and reporting requirements.
This position offers work from home flexibility 2 days per week after initial training period.Position responsibilities:
Onboards new clients and new accounts and ensures the accuracy of historical data conversion where applicable
Conducts daily account reconciliation, identifies and troubleshoots data issues for all divisions in a timely manner
Oversees data aggregate provider(s) to ensure correct data automation, timeliness, and accuracy
Conducts internal audits to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data
Audits all investment reports to ensure data accuracy
Provides various internal and external audit reports
Prepares and updates Investment Department procedures as needed
Works closely with the Database Coordinators and other Analysts to proactively review accounts for accuracy and data aggregation timeliness
Communicates with custodians, platform providers, data aggregators, and clients as needed
Focuses on continuous process improvement
Maintains procedures manual
Completes other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
Essential skills and experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
2-5 years of related experience at an investment management firm, accounting firm or financial institution
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Understanding of and interest in investments and performance calculation
Ability to interpret alternative investments statements and cash flows, primarily hedge funds and private equity, a plus
Ability to work under pressure, organize and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong computer proficiency (e.g. Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook)
Experience with Tamarac, Portfolio Center, Addepar, and ByAllAccounts a plus
Develops a basic familiarity of the tools available to complete assigned projects in a paperless environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
