PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Participates in development implementation of PFS program goals objectives Establishes audits evaluates outsourced billing posting collection operations for all patient accounts for Hospital Dental Pharmacy Long-Term Care services Supports aspects revenue cycle functions from registration to patient collections Maintains current comprehensive understanding insurance Medicare Medicaid federal state laws rules regulations regards billing collections services Assures PFS compliance internal state federal codes rules standards regarding billing collections services provided by Maniilaq Health Services providers Assures PFS compliance OIG Medicare issues Regularly reviews patient eligibility database Medicaid Medicare insurance companies alternate health resources Communicates appropriately patients healthcare providers coworkers Effectively communicates other Maniilaq programs third party payers contractors software vendors ensure functional program addresses audit requests reviews requested by state government parties Assures completion necessary applications obtains approvals POS Discount Drug Card Program programs generate reimbursements Compiles maintains submits PFS reports data required deadlines Responsible generating compiling submitting end month last business day each month other necessary reports within deadline timeframes Maintains knowledge patients rights confidentiality requirements adheres strictly regulations pertaining such Supervises provides training Patient Registration Alternate Resources employees Updates maintains Charge Master when necessary Other duties assigned
