PayPal's Credit Organization is responsible for managing the risk throughout the lifecycle of PayPal's credit products.
We're looking for an experienced Operational Decision Maker (ODM) rules developer manager to join our team who will be responsible for implementing and managing Credit Underwriting strategies in ODM.

In this role you will manage the Business Rules Management System (BRMS) of various credit platforms including architecture, design, development, QA, and release cycle management.
The role utilizes strong technical and analytical skills to understand the business processes and translate them into technical flows for implementation in BRMS.
Persons in this role will need to perform the following: Implement and Test projects against tight timelines, execute a wide variety of UNIX commands and scripts, test web services, and collaborate with teams in various locations.
What You Need to Bring:
A successful candidate will have at least 8+ years' experience in the software development industry and at least 2 years managing direct reports within an engineering team.
Experience with IBM ODM is required.
Ability to communicate clearly with development teams.
System architecture/design experience is required.
Experience working with RDBMS & strong SQL skills required.
Experience with XML & JSON is required.
JIRA/Confluence experience preferred.
Agile methodology experience preferred.
A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related field is preferred but not required.

The total compensation for this practice may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable), equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $96900 to $234300
