    About the Team

    VIZIO's Information Technology team is seeking an IT Operations Manager to join their growing team.

    The successful candidate will have the ability to work with cutting edge technology that helps facilitate productivity, support, and services to VIZIO.

    The IT Operations Manager will report to the VP of IT Operations & Information Security and will be responsible for leading a cross functional team responsible for VIZIO critical IT infrastructure and systems.


    What You Will Do

    Lead and oversee teams responsible for managing data center servers and cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

    Coordinate workstation systems configuration and policy administration to maintain a standardized and secure computing environment.

    Lead systems team responsible for managing User Identity Management, including access controls, to safeguard sensitive information and maintain compliance with security policies.

    Monitor systems patching and routine maintenance activities to ensure the integrity and stability of the IT infrastructure.

    Oversee data center infrastructure, including virtualization technologies and Azure cloud services, ensuring efficient resource utilization and alignment with organizational goals.

    Oversee backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity measures to safeguard critical data and maintain uninterrupted operations.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
    Provide strategic guidance for technology solutions, aligning IT operations with organizational objectives and future needs.
    Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the IT operations teams, encouraging professional development and teamwork.
    Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and security threats to continuously improve IT operations and mitigate risks.
    Evaluate and implement IT service management (ITSM) frameworks to optimize service delivery and support processes.
    Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT operations, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
    Collaborate with procurement to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and products.
    Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards in IT operations.
    Conduct regular audits of IT systems and processes to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures.

    About You
    Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent work experience.
    3+ Years managing IT operations teams and infrastructure.
    Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, yet at times, ambiguous environment.
    Team player, with a 'no task is too small' attitude.
    In-depth knowledge of data center server management, virtualization technologies, Azure, and workstation systems.
    Strong understanding of User Identity Management, access control mechanisms, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
    Expertise in IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and performance monitoring.
    Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    Familiarity with vendor management and contract negotiation.
    Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in IT operations.
    Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL) would be a plus.

    For California-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $102,000.00/year. The maximum salary for this position $132,000.00/year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
