    Responsibilities

    • Perform complex interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of physicians
    • Assist in patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring during procedures
    • Operate and maintain specialized equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality images
    • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of procedures and patient information
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care
    • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
    • Stay updated with the latest advancements and techniques in interventional radiology
    • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement activities

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
    • Valid and unrestricted certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in interventional radiology
    • Extensive knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and techniques
    • Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting specialized interventional radiology equipment
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

    Benefits

    Desired Start Date: ASAP

    Length of Assignment: 14 weeks

    Hours per Week: 40

    Shift and Time: 8 Hour Days |

    Schedule Details: 10 Hour Days

    Weekend Rotation: Call only on the weekends

    On-call Requirements: Call will be required, Call is done on a week basis, Friday 1700-Monday 0700 Tuesday-Thursday call shifts in 13 weeks)

    Holidays Requirements: Holidays not required: In the event of a holiday falls on a scheduled workday, the subsequent pay period will be reduced by holiday pay hours.

    Floating Requirements: None

    Experience Required: 3 years IR experience.

    License Required: ARRT Radiography

    Certificates Required: Kansas State Board of Healing Arts; Can interview without KS license and apply upon offer.

    Certificate Preferred: Vascular Interventional Radiography Post-Primary Certification from the ARRT (VI)
