WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Were looking for a Transportation Sourcing Analyst who will be responsible for identifying sourcing opportunities and providing insight and analysis on RFx activities, negotiations, and contracting with transportation providers across First Mile, Middle Mile, and Last Mile.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON As our analyst, you will work to implement recurring and ad-hoc RFx activities, negotiations and provide results and financial impact following contracting decisions. In addition, you will play an active role in vendor landscaping and creating strong internal and external relationships.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH Business partner engagement will be essential, and you will be responsible for leading and fostering relationships with both internal partners, to include Global Procurement, FA+P, Strategy, Analytics, and Operations as well as incumbent and new carriers that support Nikes supply chain network.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or related field of study
3+ years of experience in Transportation, Logistics or related experience
Experience with transportation/freight spend, sourcing, negotiations, and contracting experience
Cost modeling and forecasting experience
Project implementation and management experience
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Office with advanced knowledge in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
Travel, 0-15%
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (eg. Tableau, Thoughtspot, Alteryx, etc)
Other domestic (TL/IM, LTL, pool point) transportation operations and analytics knowledge
International (Air, Ocean, cross-border, 3PL) transportation operations and analytics knowledge
Warehousing and distribution experience
