- High School Diploma or GED

WE ARE GROWING Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) are allied health professionals, who are an integral part of the surgical team providing care to patients in the operating room, procedure room, endoscopy suite, and sterile processing settings.
Working under the supervision of a surgeon and/or Registered Nurse, the CST will help facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive/surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
The CST possess expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic technique and combine the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation tools and technologies to facilitate a physician's performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
In addition, he/she performs and participates in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, storage, distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment, and performs other duties as assigned or required.
This position will be scheduled in all specialties within the department including but not limited to General Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Pain, OB/GYN, Urology, and Gastroenterology.

This fully benefits eligible position is scheduled 48-56 hours per 2-week pay period (FTE is based on candidate preference) and participates in our call rotation.
Call is every 5th weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) and holiday, plus one evening per week.
