    Job Title: Concrete Finisher - Site Development Specialist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Finisher to join our site development team. As a key member of our crew, you will play a critical role in the construction process by creating and assembling molds, forms, and framework, as well as finishing the concrete that shapes our projects.

    You will work closely with other construction professionals in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely and accurate completion of various construction tasks. Your precision and attention to detail will directly impact the structural integrity and overall appearance of our projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Safely operate hand tools such as skill saws, reciprocating saws, grinders, drills, and hammers.
    • Handle and move various construction materials.
    • Grade preparation, leveling, and spreading dirt/stone.
    • Read blueprints and make precise measurements.
    • Cut and assemble boards, timber, plywood, and other manufacturing systems to build forms.
    • Lay out, erect, and tie reinforcing bars.
    • Erect scaffolds and ladders.
    • Install embedded items such as pipes and metal imbeds.
    • Pour concrete, consolidate, and finish.

    Requirements

    • 2+ years of heavy construction concrete formwork experience.
    • Concrete finishing experience with curb, gutter, and sidewalks or similar.
    • Ability to form, pour, and finish concrete.
    • Able to work with a diverse group of people to achieve a common goal.
    • Knowledge of proper and safe use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in the heavy construction industry.
    • Effective communication skills to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions.
    • Ability to identify, report, and correct hazards on the job site.
    • Responsible for reading and understanding blueprints.
