    System Verification Engineer

    LER TechForce is looking for a System Verification Engineer to help support aircraft engine product development. This full-time position offers the opportunity to benefit from an innovative work environment, flexible schedules, and ongoing professional development.

    Candidates should be self-motivated and excel working cross-functionally. Individuals with experience working in the automotive, aerospace, or aviation space with knowledge of engines (IC, Hybrid, EV/BEV) would be an excellent fit for this position. As a Systems Verification Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our systems through rigorous testing and requirements verification. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements, develop test plans, execute tests, and analyze results to validate system functionality and performance.

    JOB LOCATION:
    On site in Indianapolis, IN

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
    • Develop comprehensive test plans based on system requirements and design specifications.
    • Execute system tests to verify functionality, performance, and reliability across various platforms and environments.
    • Identify, isolate, and document issues or defects discovered during testing.
    • Collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, and product managers to prioritize and address identified issues.
    • Develop automated test scripts and tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
    • Participate in design reviews and provide input on system architecture and requirements to ensure testability and verifiability.
    • Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct root cause analysis of system failures and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.
    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
    ESSENTIAL:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • 1-4 years of relevant work experience
    • Must be a US Citizen / Green Card holder
    • Proven experience in system testing and requirements verification, preferably in a hardware/software development environment.
    • Ability to follow procedures such as reviews, problem reporting and test method application
    • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for test automation.
    • Experience with test management tools and version control systems (e.g., JIRA, Git).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    PREFERRED:
    • Experience in aviation or automotive systems is a plus
    • Familiarity with hardware testing tools and techniques.
